Type Classification

For this project I was tasked with gathering multiple different fonts within certain categories and combining them all into one coherent poster that provided classification for each of them. I wanted to go for a fun, playful vibe with this poster so after a few rough drafts, decided to try and make the letters look almost like they were climbing on and playing with each other. I really liked the font Degrassi Regular so I decided to use the “F” as the center piece for my layout and from there slotted the rest of the letters in around it. Although the rest of the colour scheme is quite dark I opted for a brighter red with the serif letters to better guide the viewers eyes around the layout.
